The Team Pickle League uses the exciting ABC Match Format for all season league matches. This format ensures competitive balance and strategic depth while keeping the action fast-paced and fun.
Teams: Each team designates three players, regardless of gender.
Player Roles: Players are placed A, B, C based on level with A being the strongest.
Games: Matches consist of six games, each played to 11 points, win by 2.
The six games are split into two rounds of doubles play, featuring these pairings:
Round 1
A + B vs A + B
B + C vs B + C
A + C vs A + C
Round 2
Repeat the same pairings with sides switched for fairness.
If teams are tied after six games, the winner is decided by a thrilling Dreambreaker singles tiebreaker.
How It Works:
Each team alternates players in sets of four singles points.
Rally scoring applies (every rally counts as a point).
Play continues until 21 points, win by 2.
Final point must be won while serving.
Singles matchups rotate through A, B, and C players for maximum drama.
Why ABC Format?
This structure rewards teamwork, strategy, and adaptability—every player matters, and every point counts!
